The staff make all the difference! Friendly and extremely professional. We would certainly recommend this venue. Superb service and friendliness. We are treated like honoured family guest and nothing is too much trouble. The staff (everyone!) is so friendly and makes you feel at home. I've never seen a more generous welcome reception. (They pour the glass faster than I could drink!) The hotel is just perfectly styled into the detail and Jason. I now feel like a princess. Thank you for making this a wonderful holiday! This hotel is definitely one of the best resort I've ever stayed till date. The staff are more than hospitality. We had a great holiday at the CDM We've had a wonderful stay - this card doesn't give the option of rating the gym but I have enjoyed using it every day and also the new equipment (spin-bike) since last year. Coconut water is very good and should have more. Have food in the hotel restaurant and it is excellent. Anyone can build a gorgeous hotel in a stunning location but what sets CDM apart is the staff: truly exceptional! Not a single one could have done more for us over 2 weeks. NYE was simply awesome... Such a polite friendly service. Keep up the good work. The only thing we would say is maybe advertise as "Adults Only" hotel. (i.e. no kids) A must stay & eat place in Langkawi. Although not managed by the hotel it concerned me to see jet skis in the swimming area of the sea in front of the hotel at 6:15pm last night (26/11/09) shortly after myself and 1 other person left the water. Piped music selection needs addressing. We had a lovely time here and we love all the little touches, the scented bookmarks, apples available, coffee, ice water etc. Staff - you've been excellent, best hotel we've ever stayed in! Guest - Try the chocolate pudding! You doing a fantastic job. Keep it up. Future guests should go on Capricorn 2, so maybe promote it a bit more.

Staff were great,hotel amazing. esp. loved little details such as towerls, water, melon around the pool and items provided in rooms (soaps, shampoo,fruits, biscuits). DVD's library also excellent idea. Brilliant hotel! Castaway picnic was awsome,highly recommended for all future guests. Casa del mar is a perfect resort. Small and friendly,totally professional, beatiful and relax. We can't praise it highly enough especially the staff. Well done to the staff for the warm & cosy settings and efforts to pamper all guests. Our stay was very enjoyable and this is the best place for holiday/retreat.
