We thought the 2 hour wait for our room, after travelling, tiresome, on our arrival. Change of selection on the menu would enhance the service. We have throughly enjoyed our short stay and please thank the staff for their friendly service.

Cups and saucers in room rather than beaches. Info in room regarding water spots and trips should be improved! Talk to local gov. regarding street outside through turn. Still the only hotel we have returned to, see you next year.

You have a wonderful property here. We likely will not return due to distance from the USA but we will recommend to others. If we were to make any improvements, it would be these: More comfortable mattresses-ours was too hard. Better cushions on sun loungers-foam is worn out and totally compresses and really uncomfortable on the wood loungers. More info readily available in print form about things to do on Langkawi. T-shirt, tanktops, hats with Casa del Mar logo for purchase, good colors, sizes, fabric, styles(not just with crew neck). CD's of your fabulous painist for purchase. You do so many things well that it is hard to suggest improvements, but since you asked...

Water in jacuzzi should be warm. Very few people use the facility because the water is the cold. Room facing the pool screened off a little more to give better privacy. We had a really enjoyable stay.

Suggestions only - No criticism intended. Some better lightings around the bar area after sunset. Possibly weekly bill sumary with client receipts attached. Just had a weekly meetings for all visitors instead of another one for returnee's. Keep up the good work and don't price up too much. Thanks again.

This is the second time we've visited Casa del Mar. It's been a wonderful stay and we will be coming back again. The location is great, the staff are very friendly and efficient. We've been glad there is a gym to help keep some of the calories off!

"We had 3 evening meals at the restaurant & our compliments to the chef & staff. 5 star menu is so varied but all dishes are presented & prepared sensationally. All staff are always friendly & helpful. Love the "beach champagne" meeting & "Ginger Tom" meeting. Better TV channels with Star Sports and Star Movies.

The evening menu in the restaurant would be better if it could be expended to include more short order lunch time or snack type items. Overall, the personal was extremely friendly, attentive and competent. A very special mention must be made to Hafiz at the pool bar, who is outstanding!
Bed lighting for reading could be better. Everything else fantastic. Couldn't fault a thing. Staff and service deserve a "great plus" !! Will definitely recommend to others. All the little "extras" make all the difference well done.

More written information on restaurants and shopping in the local area. More occasions to meet other guest to share experiences of trips etc. (BBQ evening?) More drinking water in rooms. Ice replenished more often as it melts so quickly. However most of the time everything was great and the staff so friendly. Thank you all.

It would be great if manicures and pedicures were offered at the spa. One or two simpler dishes on the evening menu would be good too. The pianist is a wonderful addition but the jazz version of Madonna's hits not to my taste! Overall, still fabulous!

Toothpick on tables. Replace showercaps or tell us only one provided. Standard of room cleaning variable - cafeteria not cleaned, empty loo roll not refilled - silly thing that let you down. The turndown service always turn up when we were in shower and never come back !!!! If you aim to be the best, it is hard work staying there!!! It was the fabulous stay and would happyly come back, the above gripes are very minor and did not spoiled our stay.

Music around pool variable and sometimes intrusive. Lighting in room could be improved. Other than small points above, everything excellent as usual. Pianist in lounge very good. About lighting: you should use energy efficient bulbs. I would also recommend that you use a card system once in the room to turn on all the lights and electricity therefore turning everything off when leaving the room. The guests seem to be early risers and they put towels on beach chairs very early in the morning making for poor selection (specially the wooden chairs on the beach) We throughly enjoyed our stay here. The friendliness and the attention to details made our stay a memorable one. We will come back next year!

The shower cubicle needs all the pinky brown scrubling off the grout. The seat cover in the is stained, so could be change. Otherwise, very nearly perfect! Thank you for a fabulous holiday. The staff are all fantastic.

Happy hour! Spin the wheel is too difficult. Also...we noted on a couple of occasions that when drinks are bought for other rooms or vice versa, these drinks had been double counted as the bar staff seemed to get very confussed, which was probably down to our english. Apart from this all, Bar staff and two waitresses were lovely. Allan and Peter were very good too. Hope all the staff have a lovely Xmas and New Year. Loved the fashion show and Jason's new cocktails. Best wishes!

Feel rooms were less sumptious than other hotels/ boutiques we have been to but little touches were very nice. Service out of breakfast hours could have been a little speedier as could have the pool side bar. However the overall espression was fantastic. Think Dev's Tours should be advertised more as was a real highlights and thankfully no eagle feeding, really refreshing to see a hotel not jump on the band wagan.

Room housekeeping earlier than 2 to 3pm or later. Ice doesn't come till 6 to 7pm and mini bar not restocked unless phoned for it. e.g milk, soft drinks. We have throughly enjoyed the stay. The staff are delightful, the suite very nice.
