As expected on holiday, dining is a relaxed, quality experience at your Home by the Sea. Available Dining locations begin at the wine room adjacent the piano and library and continue through a covered patio out to our beachside coconut grove. Food offers the best in Modern Asian and Western Cuisine with a focus high quality fresh produce and is served by attentive and friendly staff. The bar offers a wide variety of wine from the old and new worlds. The cocktail list is exciting and innovative with themed cocktails around our magical sunset, pool side relaxation and post dinner period.
Sun-kissed Patio Breakfasts
Classic local dishes sit alongside the traditional "eggs on toast" on the Breakfast menu at Casa del Mar. Freshly squeezed juices, home baked pastries and just-brewed coffee served with a view of fishing boats gliding home (Langkawi's only rush hour) past Rebak Island laden with the morning catch, which is quite likely to be tonight's dinner.
Lazy Deck Chair Lunches
Lunch in Langkawi, lingers somewhere between the last coffee at breakfast and when the dinner menu is presented at night. The Lunch menu includes Light crisp salads, overstuffed sandwiches and local classics such as Laksa with a selection crisp chilled sauvignon blanc and icy beer are offered to fortify energy for the afternoon activity of lying back and thinking of when you should take the next cooling dip in the pool.
Candle Lit Beachside Dinners
Beachside candle lit dinners come as a standard feature at Casa del Mar. Seated among the coconut trees, serenaded by the symphony of waves on the shore, the tinkling of the ivories and the breeze filtered through palm fronds is simply heaven. The Dinner menu is contemporary Western and Asian cuisine as well as a comprehensive wine list from all corners of the globe.
The Wine and Cigar Room
Flanked by racks of red wine and cabinets of Havana's finest cigars, the opulent atmosphere of this room is just the place to recover from dinner. Set the world to rights ensconced in an overstuffed sofa, a smoldering Cuban Cohiba in one hand and a balloon of Hennessy XO in the other. Checkmate your partner in a game of chess, flick through the latest news or wade into one of the meaty novels from our library. Two computer terminals with broadband internet access keep you in touch with friends, the stock market or abreast of the latest news.

La Sal is a unique and beautiful venue for events whether you are seeking a venue to impress your partner on Valentines, to find a night to remember on a night to remember on new year's or renew your vows at sunset on the beach, Casa del Mar and La Sal offer a number of options.
La Sal is open daily for breakfast from 7.00 am to 11.00 am, lunch from 12 noon to 2.30 pm and dinner from 7.30 pm to 10.30 pm with snacks available in between.
