Our charming little sister

Somewhere in the highlands of deepest darkest peninsular Malaysia there is a cool, calm oasis amidst the plantations of tea called The Lakehouse. A few days here completly relaxing and enjoying the views of green valley's is a great way to add a twist to your Casa del Mar holiday.

The Cameron Highlands, home to The Lakehouse, are a scenic 3 hour drive from Kuala Lumpur through the centre of Malaysia. It is known for is cooler air, untouched forest reserves and tea plantations and is a good way to begin acclimatising to the heat of Asia.

When you are ready to head to the beach you can travel by road to Kuala Kedah and take the ferry to Langkawi from there. What and adventure!
